Outside World-12/Feb/2021

Hello fellow comrades of this prison planet. How’s the world doing today? Are things still nuts out there? Are people still playing along with the charade of a virus and the fear that goes along with it? Are we still diapering our faces because the masters told us to? I’ve been out of the loop for awhile now. Being laid off and enjoying some home time has been awesome. Although, I unplugged from the mainstream system around 2005 or so. Or was I ever plugged in? I had a Facebag account in early 2008 while I was in the Army, but deleted it after finding it annoying and pointless. I got a smartphone for the first time in 2019, and still only use it to call, text, or listen to podcasts. I’ve never really watched the nightly news, and the last time I watched a late night show was when Conan O’Brien was still on. So, how’s the state of the world? What are the mainstream con artists trying to feed you these days?

My guess is FEAR. Be afraid citizen. Get underneath your bed and wait until you hear the sirens give you the all clear. Make sure you hate your neighbor and are ready to snitch on him the second he starts exhibiting any sings of “wrongthink”. It’s quite sad that these lame tactics still work in today’s society. Haven’t we figured out that these talking heads on TV are full of malarkey. How many times does it need to be proven that these so called pundits are in the pockets of the government or some corporation? How long before the average citizen sees behind the curtain and realizes the Wizard is just some small guy with a voice changer? But, the time to wake up is getting shorter and shorter. If you haven’t realized what’s going on by now, then maybe you’re too far gone.

Having been out of the loop for much of my adult life, I’ve been spared the propaganda and FEAR. When the 2008 financial crisis happened I didn’t even know because I was in the Army. I didn’t really find out about it until I got back from Iraq in late 2009. Getting back to the real world was quite the shock. People all suddenly had Iphones and were becoming glued to them. But, for me at the time I had no need for one and didn’t see the need for one because I still had an Ipod for music. By the time I got out of the Army in 2012, the world had changed even more. Now I was an extreme minority and basically a luddite but I still never had any need of a smartphone or all the baggage that goes along with it. Why wasn’t I lulled into the allure of the smartphone? How have I been able to resist the technocratic industrialization that has taken hold of the general population of the world?

I’m not sure why I wasn’t tricked by the shiny new technological wizardry, but because I’ve been out of the loop I’ve been able to hold on to what the reality was before all this madness began. People used to be able to exist without being interconnected with technology all day long. People used to be skeptical of the status quo and our leaders. But now, everyone is too busy living in their own versions of manufactured reality that hardly anyone can think clearly. I feel like a lone voice screaming out into the void. It’s time to start a real “drop out” movement, but this one needs to be real and not co-opted by the FBI or CIA. This movement needs to drop out of the ridiculous obsession with social media and all the ills that have come along with it. Kids need to abandon all screens and open a book. Adults need to unplug from their dopamine addiction, and take a look out the window instead. We’ve become a nation of zombies moving from one crises to the next based on whatever the screens tell us to be scared about.

I’m not the lone voice in the wilderness. Everyone knows these things inherently, but it’s hard to face reality and change habits. You can do it. I have faith in you.
